45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Thelma Tagle was presented with a Proud You're a
67 Picker Award by the Robstown Independent School District in March
78 2017; and
89 WHEREAS, This accolade is given to district employees who
910 have gone above and beyond their usual responsibilities in order to
1011 help a student, parent, volunteer, community member, or colleague;
1112 and
1213 WHEREAS, A teaching assistant in the computer lab at
1314 Lotspeich Elementary School, Mrs. Tagle is dedicated to enriching
1415 the educational experiences of her students, and she often helps
1516 them with their homework and provides tutoring when necessary;
1617 moreover, she creates her own word searches for the students out of
1718 their weekly spelling words and assists with the 21st Century
1819 Community Learning Centers after-school program; and
1920 WHEREAS, Those individuals who give generously of their time
2021 and talents strengthen the organizations in which they work, and it
2122 is a pleasure to recognize this dedicated professional for her
2223 contributions to Robstown ISD; now, therefore, be it
2324 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
2425 Legislature hereby congratulate Thelma Tagle on her receipt of a
2526 Proud You're a Picker Award from the Robstown Independent School
2627 District and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued
2728 success; and, be it further
2829 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2930 prepared for Mrs. Tagle as an expression of high regard by the Texas
3031 House of Representatives.
