45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Bryson Thomas has ably served his fellow Texans as
67 an intern in the office of State Representative Scott Sanford
78 during the 85th Legislative Session; and
89 WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Thomas has provided
910 vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks;
1011 in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public
1112 service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the
1213 issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
1314 WHEREAS, A graduate of Regents School of Austin, Mr. Thomas
1415 is pursuing a bachelor's degree in government from The University
1516 of Texas at Austin, and he has previously served as a senate
1617 messenger, a legislative intern for Congressman Michael T. McCaul,
1718 and an intern for State Senator Brandon Creighton; furthermore, he
1819 has volunteered his time with Beta Upsilon Chi-Brothers Under
1920 Christ, Pine Cove Christian Camps, and Central Austin Young Life;
2021 and
2122 WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his
2223 duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is
2324 indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now,
2425 therefore, be it
2526 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
2627 Legislature hereby commend Bryson Thomas for his service as a
2728 legislative intern in the office of State Representative Scott
2829 Sanford and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success
2930 in all his endeavors; and, be it further
3031 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3132 prepared for Mr. Thomas as an expression of high regard by the Texas
3233 House of Representatives.
