 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Bill Quang Nguyen Dang has ably served his fellow
 Texans as an aide in the office of State Representative Scott
 Sanford during the 84th legislative interim and 85th Legislative
 Regular Session; and
 WHEREAS, Since joining the staff in September 2015, Mr. Dang
 has provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of
 challenging tasks; in addition to gaining valuable experience in
 the field of public service, he has learned more about the
 legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star
 State; and
 WHEREAS, An alumnus of Lamar High School in Houston, Mr. Dang
 is pursuing a degree in biology at The University of Texas at
 Austin; he is a member of the coed prehealth professional
 fraternity Delta Epsilon Mu, which he has served as president,
 social officer, and fund-raising officer; he has also given
 generously of his time and talents as a camp counselor for the
 Muscular Dystrophy Association and as a volunteer at both the
 University Medical Center Brackenridge and the International
 Volunteer Headquarters in Lima, Peru; and
 WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his
 duties as a legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is
 indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now,
 therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
 Legislature hereby commend Bill Quang Nguyen Dang for his service
 as a legislative aide in the office of State Representative Scott
 Sanford and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success
 in all his endeavors; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Mr. Dang as an expression of high regard by the Texas
 House of Representatives.
