| 10 | 11 | | goals of TAMU--CC by providing resources to low-income, |

| 11 | 12 | | first-generation, and underrepresented students; in receiving an |

| 12 | 13 | | Outstanding Award, Ms. Paz was recognized for her academic |

| 13 | 14 | | achievements as a student majoring in a science, technology, |

| 14 | 15 | | engineering, or mathematics field of study; and |

| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, A native of San Benito, Ms. Paz is a sophomore at |

| 16 | 17 | | TAMU--CC, where she is working toward a bachelor's degree in |

| 17 | 18 | | nursing; after graduating, she plans to pursue a career as a nurse |

| 18 | 19 | | at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital; and |

| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Gabriela Paz is indeed deserving of this prestigious |
