| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Maxwell Newton has ably served his fellow Texans as |

| 7 | 8 | | the 85th Legislative Session; and |
|---|
| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Newton has provided |

| 9 | 10 | | vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |

| 10 | 11 | | in addition to learning more about the legislative process and the |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, he has gained |

| 12 | 13 | | valuable experience in the field of public service; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Newton is currently a student at The University |

| 14 | 15 | | of Texas at Austin, where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Business |

| 15 | 16 | | Administration degree in international business; and |

| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his |

| 17 | 18 | | duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is |

| 18 | 19 | | indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, |

| 20 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |

| 21 | 22 | | Legislature hereby commend Maxwell Newton for his service as a |
