| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Jade Cabrero Doss has ably served her fellow Texans |

| 6 | 7 | | as an intern in the office of State Representative Hugh D. Shine |

| 7 | 8 | | during the 85th Legislative Session; and |
|---|
| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Doss has provided vital |

| 9 | 10 | | assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; in |

| 10 | 11 | | addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, After completing her internship, Ms. Doss will |

| 14 | 15 | | continue to pursue her degree at Texas Tech University, with an |

| 15 | 16 | | expected graduation date of August 2017; and |

| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her |

| 17 | 18 | | duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is |

| 18 | 19 | | indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |

| 20 | 21 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |

| 21 | 22 | | Legislature hereby commend Jade Cabrero Doss for her service as a |
