| 11 | 12 | | ability, they are helping to rewrite the vision and mission |

| 12 | 13 | | statement for the district and will be involved in developing the |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | improvement plan for the 2017-2018 school year; and |

| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Giddings ISD serves more than 1,900 students at |

| 15 | 16 | | Giddings Elementary, Giddings Intermediate, Giddings Middle, and |

| 16 | 17 | | Giddings High Schools; over the years, district campuses have |

| 17 | 18 | | appeared on the Texas Monthly "Best Public Schools" list and on the |

| 18 | 19 | | "Best Schools" list of U.S. News and World Report; teachers and |

| 19 | 20 | | administrators work to meet the needs of a diverse student |

|---|

| 28 | 29 | | state-level UIL Academics, top-placing FFA teams, and state-ranked |

| 29 | 30 | | athletic squads; community residents express their "Buffalo Pride" |

| 32 | 33 | | WHEREAS, Giddings ISD is committed to promoting active |
