| 12 | 13 | | High School, he earned bachelor and master of theology degrees from |

| 13 | 14 | | the Inter-Baptist Theological Center as well as a certification in |

| 14 | 15 | | mission training from Southern Bible College; for many years, he |

| 16 | 17 | | his roles as a professor at Conroe College, as dean of Christian |

| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, In 1971, Reverend Alix embarked on his career as a |

| 20 | 21 | | pastor at Yellowstone Boulevard Missionary Baptist Church, which he |

| 21 | 22 | | led for 18 years before assuming the pulpit of Greater True Vine |

| 22 | 23 | | Baptist Church; in addition to faithfully carrying out his duties |

| 23 | 24 | | to his congregation, he serves as moderator of the Puritan District |

| 24 | 25 | | Association of Texas and as a member of the Baptist Ministers |

| 25 | 26 | | Association of Houston and Vicinity; the chairman emeritus of the |

| 36 | 37 | | WHEREAS, For six decades, Reverend Alix has exemplified the |
