| 9 | 10 | | Days Festival, the program accepts 20 seniors each year; the 10 Miss |

| 10 | 11 | | Buc Days Scholars and 10 Buc Days King Scholars are chosen on the |

| 11 | 12 | | basis of their academic qualifications, their record of |

| 12 | 13 | | participation in extracurricular activities, and their performance |

| 13 | 14 | | in an essay and public speaking competition; and |

| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, During their final semester in high school, the |

| 15 | 16 | | honorees participate in tours designed to expand their awareness of |

| 17 | 18 | | community and take part in a Dale Carnegie leadership training |
