| 10 | 11 | | Buc Days Scholars and 10 Buc Days King Scholars are chosen on the |

| 11 | 12 | | basis of their academic qualifications, their record of |

| 12 | 13 | | participation in extracurricular activities, and their performance |

| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, During their final semester in high school, the |

| 15 | 16 | | honorees participate in tours designed to expand their awareness of |

| 17 | 18 | | community and take part in a Dale Carnegie leadership training |

| 18 | 19 | | program; a total of $37,000 in scholarships is distributed among |

| 19 | 20 | | the winning students, who are eligible for matching scholarships at |

| 20 | 21 | | Del Mar Community College, Texas A&M University--Corpus Christi, |

| 22 | 23 | | WHEREAS, A fitting recipient of this notable honor, Joe Rosas |
