45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Kylie Calabrese has ably served her fellow Texans as
67 legislative director in the office of State Representative Chris
78 Turner during the 85th Legislative Session; and
89 WHEREAS, Ms. Calabrese's positive attitude, foresight,
910 resourcefulness, and initiative have earned the appreciation of her
1011 colleagues, and her contributions to carrying forth Representative
1112 Turner's legislative agenda have helped address issues facing
1213 citizens across the Lone Star State; and
1314 WHEREAS, Ms. Calabrese earned her bachelor's degree in
1415 history from the University of South Carolina, and she is currently
1516 pursuing a master's degree in public affairs from The University of
1617 Texas at Austin; she first joined the office of Representative
1718 Turner as a legislative intern in the summer of 2016, having
1819 previously gained valuable work experience as a policy intern for
1920 the American Heart Association and as a legal intern for the
2021 Richland County Public Defender's Office in South Carolina; and
2122 WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed her
2223 duties as legislative director with skill and dedication, and she
2324 is indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
2425 therefore, be it
2526 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
2627 Legislature hereby commend Kylie Calabrese for her service as
2728 legislative director in the office of State Representative Chris
2829 Turner and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success
2930 in all her endeavors; and, be it further
3031 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3132 prepared for Ms. Calabrese as an expression of high regard by the
3233 Texas House of Representatives.
