| 10 | 11 | | initiative, which furthers the goals of TAMU--CC by providing |

| 11 | 12 | | resources to low-income, first-generation, and underrepresented |

| 12 | 13 | | students; in receiving an Outstanding Award, Ms. McGaha was |

| 13 | 14 | | recognized for her record of academic excellence within the |

| 14 | 15 | | program; and |

| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, A native of Houston, Ms. McGaha is majoring in |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | biomedical science, and she also serves as the events coordinator |

| 17 | 18 | | for the TAMU--CC SACNAS chapter; after graduating, she plans to |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | continue her studies at the University of Nebraska Omaha and work |

| 19 | 20 | | toward a doctorate in clinical laboratory sciences; and |

| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Michelle McGaha is indeed deserving of this |

| 21 | 22 | | prestigious honor, and she may look forward to a future bright with |

| 22 | 23 | | promise; now, therefore, be it |
