45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Graduation from college is one of life's momentous
67 milestones, and Earlmond Hammond III celebrated that significant
78 achievement as a member of the Class of 2017 at Prairie View A&M
89 University; and
910 WHEREAS, The son of Earlmond Hammond Jr. and Janette Hammond,
1011 Earlmond Hammond III completed his bachelor's degree in biology; he
1112 plans to attend Vet Tech Institute of Houston to become a licensed
1213 veterinary technician before going on to enroll in veterinary
1314 school; and
1415 WHEREAS, Mr. Hammond is a graduate of Lawrence E. Elkins High
1516 School in Missouri City, where he played football and was a member
1617 of FFA; an Eagle Scout, he is also an active congregant of New Faith
1718 Church, and he has served as a member of the Youth Usher Board,
1819 Youth Leadership Board, and Drama Ministry; and
1920 WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this
2021 outstanding young Texan, and he may indeed take pride in his
2122 accomplishments as he looks forward to a future bright with
2223 promise; now, therefore, be it
2324 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
2425 Legislature hereby congratulate Earlmond Hammond III on his
2526 graduation from Prairie View A&M University and extend to him
2627 sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
2728 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2829 prepared for Mr. Hammond as an expression of high regard by the
2930 Texas House of Representatives.
