| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, "Mimi" Duong has provided |

| 11 | 12 | | representative's child welfare policy reforms, including those |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | seeking to protect vulnerable children, reduce trauma, and improve |

| 13 | 14 | | reunification efforts for families; in addition, she has diligently |

| 14 | 15 | | reviewed and managed legislation referred to the house committees |

| 15 | 16 | | on Human Services, Economic Development, and Public Health; over |

| 26 | 27 | | Ouarzazate, Morocco, as a member of the U.S. Peace Corps, and she |

| 27 | 28 | | has held positions with the Child Welfare Education Project, the |

| 28 | 29 | | Women's Home, the Alliance for Multicultural Community Services, |

| 29 | 30 | | and Radio Saigon Houston; moreover, she has volunteered with a |
