H.R. No. 2370
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Liliana Jayme has ably served her fellow Texans as
an intern in the office of State Representative Joe Moody during the
85th Legislative Session; and
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Jayme has provided
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks;
in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public
service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
WHEREAS, The daughter of Cecilia and Arturo Jayme, Ms. Jayme
is a freshman psychology major at The University of Texas at Austin;
with the session soon coming to a close, she is looking forward to
spending six weeks in Ukraine this summer with her ministry,
Longhorns for Christ, teaching conversational English and learning
about the culture and its people; in the long term, she hopes to
eventually pursue a career in law; and
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her
duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is
indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Liliana Jayme for her service as a
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Joe Moody
and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all
her endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Jayme as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
