| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Liliana Jayme has ably served her fellow Texans as |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Jayme has provided |

| 9 | 10 | | vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |

| 10 | 11 | | in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |

| 11 | 12 | | service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |

| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, The daughter of Cecilia and Arturo Jayme, Ms. Jayme |

| 14 | 15 | | is a freshman psychology major at The University of Texas at Austin; |

| 15 | 16 | | with the session soon coming to a close, she is looking forward to |

| 16 | 17 | | spending six weeks in Ukraine this summer with her ministry, |

| 17 | 18 | | Longhorns for Christ, teaching conversational English and learning |

| 18 | 19 | | about the culture and its people; in the long term, she hopes to |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | eventually pursue a career in law; and |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her |

| 21 | 22 | | duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is |

| 22 | 23 | | indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |

| 24 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |
