H.R. No. 2378
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Carlos Dinkel has ably served his fellow Texans as a
legislative aide in the office of State Representative Eddie
Rodriguez during the 85th Legislative Session; and
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Dinkel has provided
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks,
including meeting with advocacy groups, tracking legislation, and
attending policy meetings, and he has become particularly well
versed in voting and immigrant rights; in addition to gaining
valuable experience in the field of public service, he has learned
more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens
of the Lone Star State; and
WHEREAS, An international relations major at The University
of Texas at Austin, Mr. Dinkel will spend this summer and fall
studying international security at Sciences Po in Paris; following
his graduation, he plans to pursue a career in foreign affairs with
a focus on national security; and
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his
duties as a legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is
indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Carlos Dinkel for his service as a
legislative aide in the office of State Representative Eddie
Rodriguez and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued
success in all his endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Dinkel as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
