H.R. No. 2379
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, James Moore has ably served his fellow Texans as a
legislative aide in the office of State Representative Eddie
Rodriguez during the 85th Legislative Session; and
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Moore has provided
vital assistance in handling such diverse and challenging tasks as
meeting with advocacy groups, performing administrative work, and
participating in policy meetings, and he has become particularly
well versed in issues relating to immigrants and persons seeking
citizenship; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the
field of public service, he has learned more about the legislative
process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Moore is a student at The University of Texas at
Austin, where he is pursuing a degree in international relations
and history; and
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his
duties as a legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is
indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
Legislature hereby commend James Moore for his service as a
legislative aide in the office of State Representative Eddie
Rodriguez and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued
success in all his endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Moore as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
