45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Graduation from high school is one of life's pivotal
67 milestones, and Kyle Donnelly is celebrating that significant
78 achievement as a member of the Class of 2017 at the Americas High
89 School Libertas Academy in El Paso; and
910 WHEREAS, Mr. Donnelly is among the students who have
1011 completed their secondary education in the academy's Advanced
1112 Academics Program, which features specialized curricula focused on
1213 law, government, and public administration; and
1314 WHEREAS, The son of Kristine and George Donnelly,
1415 Mr. Donnelly participated in numerous extracurricular activities
1516 throughout his high school career, including cross-country and
1617 debate; he has also served as vice president of the Libertas student
1718 body and held membership with the National Technical Honor Society;
1819 after graduating, he plans to use his Marine Corps scholarship to
1920 continue his education at Virginia Military Institute; and
2021 WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this
2122 outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join his family and
2223 friends in recognizing him as he embarks on a future bright with
2324 promise; now, therefore, be it
2425 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
2526 Legislature hereby congratulate Kyle Donnelly on the occasion of
2627 his graduation from the Americas High School Libertas Academy and
2728 extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success and
2829 happiness; and, be it further
2930 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3031 prepared for Mr. Donnelly as an expression of high regard by the
3132 Texas House of Representatives.
