| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Graduation from high school is one of life's pivotal |

| 8 | 9 | | School Libertas Academy in El Paso; and |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Escamilla is among the students who have |

| 10 | 11 | | completed their secondary education in the academy's Advanced |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | Academics Program, which features specialized curricula focused on |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | law, government, and public administration; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, The son of Obed Escamilla and Leticia Escamilla, |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | Mr. Escamilla ranks in the top 10 percent of his class and is a |

| 15 | 16 | | member of both the National Honor Society and the National |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | Technical Honor Society; he has further distinguished himself as a |

| 17 | 18 | | student-athlete, and in addition to running track, he played on the |

| 18 | 19 | | football team, helping lead the Trailblazers to district and |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | bi-district championships and earning second team all-district |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | honors; after graduation, he plans to attend Texas A&M University |

| 21 | 22 | | and to pursue a career as an officer in the military; and |
