H.R. No. 2458
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Graduation from high school is one of life's pivotal
milestones, and Jaiden Alvarado is celebrating that significant
achievement as a member of the Class of 2017 at the Americas High
School Libertas Academy in El Paso; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Alvarado is among the students who have
completed their secondary education in the academy's Advanced
Academics Program, which features specialized curricula focused on
law, government, and public administration; and
WHEREAS, The son of Jorge Alvarado and Sally Alvarado,
Mr. Alvarado distinguished himself as an exemplary student during
his high school career, balancing Advanced Placement and
dual-credit courses with a number of extracurricular activities; in
addition to earning a membership in the National Honor Society, he
played on the football team and helped lead the Trailblazers to
consecutive district and bi-district championships; after
graduating, he plans to continue his education at St. Mary's
University; and
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this
outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join his family and
friends in recognizing him as he embarks on a future bright with
promise; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Jaiden Alvarado on the occasion of
his graduation from the Americas High School Libertas Academy and
extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success and
happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Alvarado as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
