| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Graduation from high school is one of life's pivotal |

| 6 | 7 | | milestones, and Juan Antonio Hernandez is celebrating that |

| 8 | 9 | | Americas High School Libertas Academy in El Paso; and |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Hernandez is among the students who have |

| 10 | 11 | | completed their secondary education in the academy's Advanced |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | Academics Program, which features specialized curricula focused on |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | law, government, and public administration; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, The son of Abel and Yolanda Hernandez, Mr. Hernandez |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | is an officer of the National Technical Honor Society and a member |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | of moot court and the marching and concert bands; he earned a first |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | division rating in the University Interscholastic League regional |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | solo and ensemble competition and qualified for UIL state marching |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | band; in addition, he is president of Youth for Christ; he plans to |

| 19 | 20 | | major in political science at The University of Texas at El Paso |

| 20 | 21 | | with a view toward pursuing a career in public office; and |

| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this |

| 22 | 23 | | outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join his family and |
