| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Randy Branch stepped down as Crockett County |

| 6 | 7 | | commissioner for Precinct 3 on December 31, 2016; and |

| 7 | 8 | | WHEREAS, During his 12 years on the commissioners court, |

| 8 | 9 | | Mr. Branch worked tirelessly to address the needs of his fellow |

| 9 | 10 | | citizens; he further demonstrated his commitment to his duties by |

| 10 | 11 | | completing certification courses through the Commissioners Court |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | Advanced Curriculum program; and |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, A native of Midland, Mr. Branch graduated from |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | Robert E. Lee High School and went on to earn master mechanic status |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | while employed by the Wes-Tex Equipment Company; for the past 35 |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | years, he has resided in Ozona, where he has given generously of his |

| 16 | 17 | | time and talents as president of the Ozona Lions Club and as a |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | member of the Ozona Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors; other |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | organizations to have benefited from his efforts include the |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | Crockett County Deerfest Association, the Crockett County Civic and |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | Youth Center, and the local emergency medical services and |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | volunteer fire department; and |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Branch enjoys the support |
|---|
| 23 | 24 | | of a loving family that includes his wife of 43 years, Lisa, and |
|---|
| 24 | 25 | | their children, Bryan, Charlie, and Angela; and |
|---|
| 25 | 26 | | WHEREAS, Through his dedication, professionalism, and |
|---|
| 26 | 27 | | commitment to excellence, Randy Branch has contributed |
|---|
| 27 | 28 | | immeasurably to his community, and he may indeed take pride in all |
|---|
| 28 | 29 | | he has accomplished; now, therefore, be it |

| 29 | 30 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |

| 30 | 31 | | Legislature hereby commend Randy Branch for his outstanding service |
