R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Graduation from high school is one of life's pivotal
milestones, and Rudy Alexander Zavala is celebrating that
significant achievement as a member of the Class of 2017 at the
Americas High School Libertas Academy in El Paso; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Zavala is among the students who have completed
their secondary education in the academy's Advanced Academics
Program, which features specialized curricula focused on law,
government, and public administration; and
WHEREAS, The son of Rudy Zavala, Mr. Zavala has been involved
in a number of extracurricular activities throughout his high
school career, participating in AVID and debate, competing in the
Texas Forensic Association tournament, and attending an
educational summit in Davos, Switzerland; following his
graduation, he plans to continue his education studying psychology
in college in hopes of eventually pursuing a career as a prosecutor
or FBI agent; and
WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this
outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join his family and
friends in recognizing him as he embarks on a future bright with
promise; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Rudy Alexander Zavala on the
occasion of his graduation from the Americas High School Libertas
Academy and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success
and happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Zavala as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
