| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Graduation from high school is one of life's pivotal |

| 6 | 7 | | milestones, and Rudy Alexander Zavala is celebrating that |

| 7 | 8 | | significant achievement as a member of the Class of 2017 at the |

| 8 | 9 | | Americas High School Libertas Academy in El Paso; and |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Zavala is among the students who have completed |

| 10 | 11 | | their secondary education in the academy's Advanced Academics |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | Program, which features specialized curricula focused on law, |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | government, and public administration; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, The son of Rudy Zavala, Mr. Zavala has been involved |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | in a number of extracurricular activities throughout his high |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | school career, participating in AVID and debate, competing in the |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | Texas Forensic Association tournament, and attending an |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | educational summit in Davos, Switzerland; following his |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | graduation, he plans to continue his education studying psychology |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | in college in hopes of eventually pursuing a career as a prosecutor |

| 20 | 21 | | or FBI agent; and |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this |

| 22 | 23 | | outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join his family and |

| 23 | 24 | | friends in recognizing him as he embarks on a future bright with |
