| 8 | 9 | | Americas High School Libertas Academy in El Paso; and |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Rayas is among the students who have completed |

| 10 | 11 | | their secondary education in the academy's Advanced Academics |

| 11 | 12 | | Program, which features specialized curricula focused on law, |

| 12 | 13 | | government, and public administration; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, The daughter of Elizabeth Bonilla and Eduardo Angel |

| 14 | 15 | | Rayas Jr., Ms. Rayas holds membership with the National Technical |

| 15 | 16 | | Honor Society and the Mu Alpha Theta mathematics honor society, and |

| 16 | 17 | | she has also participated in University Interscholastic League |

| 17 | 18 | | state competitions as a member of the school band; after |

| 18 | 19 | | graduating, she plans to study mathematics at The University of |

| 19 | 20 | | Texas at Austin and to eventually pursue a career as a math teacher; |
