45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Graduation from high school is one of life's pivotal
67 milestones, and Jillian Hodges is celebrating that significant
78 achievement as a member of the Class of 2017 at the Americas High
89 School Libertas Academy in El Paso; and
910 WHEREAS, Ms. Hodges is among the students who have completed
1011 their secondary education in the academy's Advanced Academics
1112 Program, which features specialized curricula focused on law,
1213 government, and public administration; and
1314 WHEREAS, The daughter of Paul J. Hodges and Melody Milner,
1415 Ms. Hodges participated in numerous extracurricular activities
1516 throughout her high school career, including DECA, the Sierra
1617 Student Coalition, and varsity golf; she plans to continue her
1718 education at Texas Tech University, where she will study marketing
1819 and accounting; and
1920 WHEREAS, Exciting challenges and opportunities await this
2021 outstanding young Texan, and it is a pleasure to join her family and
2122 friends in recognizing her as she embarks on a future bright with
2223 promise; now, therefore, be it
2324 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
2425 Legislature hereby congratulate Jillian Hodges on the occasion of
2526 her graduation from the Americas High School Libertas Academy and
2627 extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success and
2728 happiness; and, be it further
2829 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2930 prepared for Ms. Hodges as an expression of high regard by the Texas
3031 House of Representatives.
