56 WHEREAS, Karley J. Hendricks is graduating as the
67 valedictorian of the senior class of Agua Dulce High School in 2017;

89 WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only
910 intellect and aptitude but also four years of dedication to the
1011 highest academic standards; Ms. Hendricks has demonstrated a
1112 thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, and her
1213 attainment of this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement
1314 of a notable high school career; and
1415 WHEREAS, The daughter of Kari and Wade Hendricks,
1516 Ms. Hendricks plans to continue her education at Texas A&M
1617 University, studying marketing and international studies; and
1718 WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Karley J. Hendricks
1819 has earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and
1920 classmates, and her exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and
2021 commitment to excellence have opened the way to limitless
2122 opportunities for this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be
2223 it
2324 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
2425 Legislature hereby congratulate Karley J. Hendricks, valedictorian
2526 of the Class of 2017 at Agua Dulce High School, and extend to her
2627 sincere best wishes for continued success as she begins the next
2728 exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further
2829 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
2930 prepared for Ms. Hendricks as an expression of high regard by the
3031 Texas House of Representatives.
