| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, June 17, 2017, marks the 50th wedding anniversary of |

| 6 | 7 | | Ed and Susan Auler of Austin, and this joyous event provides a |

| 7 | 8 | | fitting opportunity to reflect on their rewarding journey together |

| 8 | 9 | | as husband and wife; and |
|---|
| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Ed Auler and the former Susan Teeple were joined in |
|---|
| 10 | 11 | | matrimony in 1967 at Highland Park Presbyterian Church in Dallas; |

| 11 | 12 | | over the years, they have been blessed with a treasured family that |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | includes their children, Chad and Mark, as well as five |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | grandchildren, Yates, Charles, Ash, Daisy, and Shelby; and |

| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Auler founded Fall Creek Vineyards |

| 15 | 16 | | several years after a trip to France in 1973, and they have built it |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | into a highly respected and award-winning business with locations |

| 17 | 18 | | in Tow and Driftwood; they organized the first Texas Hill Country |

| 18 | 19 | | Wine and Food Festival, and their wines have been served at several |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | presidential inaugurations and state dinners as well as at special |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | functions hosted by the Texas governor and speaker of the house; |

| 21 | 22 | | involved with numerous nonprofits, the couple enjoy traveling and |
|---|
| 22 | 23 | | outdoor activities in their leisure time; and |

| 23 | 24 | | WHEREAS, The five decades of marriage that Mr. and Mrs. Auler |

| 24 | 25 | | have shared is eloquent affirmation of the meaning of love and |

| 25 | 26 | | commitment, and their enduring union is an inspiration to all who |

| 26 | 27 | | know them; now, therefore, be it |
