5	6		WHEREAS, The House Business Office has played an essential
6	7		role in the activities of the Texas House of Representatives during
7	8		the Regular Session of the 85th Legislature; and
8	9		WHEREAS, This office is overseen by executive director and
9	10		accounting manager Steven Adrian, whose administrative abilities
10	11		are a considerable asset to the legislature; and
11	12		WHEREAS, Assisting Mr. Adrian in the accounting department is
12	13		his dedicated staff, which includes Denyce Deadrick, Gerri Foster,
13	14		Donna McNees, Veronica Morales, Donna Scott, Scott Siebert, and
14	15		Alonzo Vidal; and
15	16		WHEREAS, The payroll and personnel department is led by
16	17		manager James L. Freeman, and he is supported in his duties by
17	18		Virginia Bostic, MaryAlice Cortinas, Erika Lacey, Barbara Mokry,
18	19		Rob Morgan, Suzette Motal, and Diana Rodriguez; and
19	20		WHEREAS, Guided by the expertise of manager Monti Perkins,
20	21		the photography department consists of staff members Tyler
21	22		Anderson, Brian Diggs, Tanya Fleming, Holly McVeety-Mill, Steven
22	23		Moakley, Elaine Troublefield, and Kyle Woods; and
23	24		WHEREAS, Vernon Green oversees the task of dealing with a
24	25		vast assortment of mail that is part of a legislative session, and
25	26		he is aided in this endeavor by house post office employees William
26	27		Bland Jr., Irene Constancio, Joseph Frausto, Jacob Hernandez, and
27	28		Michael Rodriguez; and
28	29		WHEREAS, Working diligently to meet the inventory
29	30		requirements of house members and their staff are property
30	31		department manager Pat Mills and employees Jesse Casarez, Kenneth
31	32		Fretwell, Ray Guerrero, Natividad Mendez, and Thomas Stites; and
32	33		WHEREAS, The purchasing and supply department, under the
33	34		direction of manager Dean A. Howard, consists of Amy Cadenhead,
34	35		Matthew Denman, Paul Hays, and William Travis, all of whom help
35	36		ensure the expeditious handling of the supply needs of house
36	37		offices; and
37	38		WHEREAS, Also doing their part to support the representatives
38	39		are reproduction department manager Scott Williams and staff
39	40		members Mary Anne Bell, Gerard Caballero, David Cavazos, Dorothy
40	41		Davis, Guy Desrochers, Deborah Hayes, Cindi Henry, Tom Ruedas,
41	42		Roy Salas, Fred Schattenberg, Erica Sebree, David Thompson, and Sue
42	43		Watson; and
43	44		WHEREAS, The skillful professionals behind the video and
44	45		audio department are manager Michael D. Blackwell, Larry Appleby,
45	46		Austin Chandler, George Hewitt, Robert Igo, Chloe Johnson, Michael
46	47		Moore, Oswaldo Padron, Abby Pettinos, Veronica Ramirez, Scott
47	48		Sanders, Suzanne Schreve, Jessica Stockford, and Anne Tadvick; and
48	49		WHEREAS, The hardworking and resourceful men and women of the
49	50		House Business Office have attended to their duties with
50	51		professionalism, efficiency, and remarkable energy, and they are
51	52		indeed deserving of our utmost appreciation; now, therefore, be it
52	53		RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
53	54		Legislature hereby commend Steven Adrian and the employees of the
54	55		House Business Office for their outstanding work and extend to them
55	56		sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
56	57		RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
57	58		prepared for Mr. Adrian and the business office staff as an
58	59		expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
