| 6 | 7 | | Moore of Lamesa, who passed away on April 8, 2016, at the age of 51; |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Monte Moore was born in Lamesa to Milton and Joan |

| 9 | 10 | | Moore on February 8, 1965; he was an accomplished athlete at Dawson |

| 10 | 11 | | High School, where he earned All-State honors as a member of the |

| 11 | 12 | | school's football team; after graduating, he became the third |

| 12 | 13 | | generation of his family to enter the water well drilling business, |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | eventually owning and operating his own firm, Monte Moore Drilling; |

| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, A man of faith, he attended First Baptist Church and |

| 16 | 17 | | was active in the La Mesa De Dios Emmaus community; in his free |

| 17 | 18 | | time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating; and |

| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Moore enjoyed the love and support of his wife, |

| 19 | 20 | | Shelly, with whom he shared nearly a quarter century of marriage; he |

| 20 | 21 | | took great pride in his children, Megan and Tyler, and as his |

| 21 | 22 | | extended family grew, he delighted in the company of his |

| 22 | 23 | | grandchildren, Madden and Macall; and |

| 23 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Known for his kindness and generosity, Monte Moore |

| 24 | 25 | | enriched many lives during his journey on this earth, and he will be |

| 25 | 26 | | fondly remembered by all who had the great pleasure of sharing in |
