45 R E S O L U T I O N
56 WHEREAS, Jordan Moeller has been named valedictorian of the
67 Class of 2017 at W. B. Ray High School in Corpus Christi, and he
78 indeed merits special recognition for receiving this significant
89 honor; and
910 WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only
1011 intellect and aptitude but also four years of dedication to the
1112 highest academic standards; in securing his place as the
1213 top-ranking student in his class, Mr. Moeller demonstrated a
1314 thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, and his
1415 attainment of this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement
1516 of a notable high school career; and
1617 WHEREAS, In addition to the pride inherent in being
1718 recognized for his hard work, Mr. Moeller has gained the
1819 opportunity to address his fellow seniors at commencement and to
1920 reflect on their shared history as well as on their hopes and
2021 ambitions; and
2122 WHEREAS, Throughout his academic career, Jordan Moeller has
2223 earned the respect and admiration of both his teachers and
2324 classmates, and his exceptional scholastic ability and commitment
2425 to excellence have opened the way to a bright and promising future
2526 for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore, be it
2627 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
2728 Legislature hereby congratulate Jordan Moeller, valedictorian of
2829 the Class of 2017 at W. B. Ray High School, and extend to him sincere
2930 best wishes for continued success as he begins the next exciting
3031 chapter of his life; and, be it further
3132 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3233 prepared for Mr. Moeller as an expression of high regard by the
3334 Texas House of Representatives.
