| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Scoring second-place awards were Lisa Luna for |

| 14 | 15 | | lifestyle pages and the sports department for sports photography, |

| 15 | 16 | | while the newspaper finished third in the general excellence, page |

| 16 | 17 | | design, sports coverage, and serious column writing categories; |

| 17 | 18 | | moreover, honorable mentions were presented to the daily for news |

| 18 | 19 | | photos and to writer Robbie Hamby for humorous column writing; and |

| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Newspapers constitute a vital source of information |

| 21 | 22 | | journalists of the Pleasanton Express are making an invaluable |
