| 7 | 8 | | Prairie, a remarkable young man whose life was cut tragically short |

| 8 | 9 | | on May 9, 2017, at the age of 18; and |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, The son of Mark and Danita Montgomery, Bryce |

| 10 | 11 | | Montgomery was born on November 2, 1998, in Fort Worth; he grew up |

| 11 | 12 | | with the companionship of a brother, Braedon, and a sister, |

| 12 | 13 | | Brielle, with whom he shared many special memories; and |

| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Montgomery was a senior at Dubiski Career High |

| 14 | 15 | | School in Grand Prairie, where he studied game design, combining |

| 15 | 16 | | his artistic talents with his passion for video games; he also loved |

| 16 | 17 | | music, and in his free time, he enjoyed writing short stories; and |

| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Guided by his Christian faith, Mr. Montgomery was |

| 18 | 19 | | generous and respectful; while he seemed quiet and reserved to |

| 19 | 20 | | those he first met, those who knew him well delighted in his |

| 20 | 21 | | kindness and spontaneity; and |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Although the loss of one so full of promise brings |

| 22 | 23 | | immeasurable sorrow, those who were blessed to be part of Bryce |

| 23 | 24 | | Montgomery's life will forever carry his memory in their hearts; |
