| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Mary Lou |

| 6 | 7 | | Paddie Deville of Center, who passed away on May 17, 2017, at the |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The daughter of Lew and Rosa Line Ebarb, the former |

| 9 | 10 | | Mary Lou Ebarb was born in Mansfield, Louisiana, on April 24, 1929, |

| 10 | 11 | | and grew up with the companionship of a brother, T. J.; and |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | WHEREAS, This beloved woman shared a rewarding relationship |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | with her first husband, Eli Paddie, until his passing; fortunate |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | enough to find love again, she married Emar Deville, who also |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | preceded her in death; over the years, she was blessed with a fine |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | family that included two daughters, Betty and Bonny, and three |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | sons, Billy, Bobby, and Benny, as well as numerous grandchildren |

| 17 | 18 | | and great-grandchildren; she was a valued member of the Center |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | community and a parishioner at St. Therese Catholic Church; and |

| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Mary Lou Deville lived a caring and purposeful life, |

| 20 | 21 | | and she leaves behind a wealth of comforting memories to be |

| 21 | 22 | | treasured by those who were privileged to share in her love and |

| 22 | 23 | | affection; now, therefore, be it |

| 23 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |

| 24 | 25 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Mary Lou Paddie |
