| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The memorable win came in front of a home crowd at |

| 9 | 10 | | Highlander Stadium in the District 15-5A season opener against |

| 10 | 11 | | Lovejoy High School; the Scots triumphed by a score of 27-20 to lift |

| 11 | 12 | | Coach Allen to a new plateau of success; and |

| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Allen began his coaching career as an assistant |

| 13 | 14 | | at Bryan High School in 1973 and went on to prove his ability as a |

| 14 | 15 | | head coach at Ballinger, Brownwood, and Abilene Cooper High |

| 15 | 16 | | Schools; since taking the helm of HPHS football in 1999, he has |

| 16 | 17 | | piloted his teams to numerous playoff appearances, and in 2005, he |

| 17 | 18 | | guided the Scots to their first-ever undefeated season and the |

| 18 | 19 | | University Interscholastic League 4A state title; today, he ranks |

| 19 | 20 | | fourth on the list of all-time winningest coaches in Texas high |

| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Off the gridiron, Coach Allen has distinguished |

| 22 | 23 | | himself through his involvement with the Fellowship of Christian |

| 23 | 24 | | Athletes, serving as a member of the Greater Dallas/Fort Worth FCA |

| 24 | 25 | | Leadership Advisory Board and volunteering with his school's |

| 25 | 26 | | chapter, and the organization presented him with its 2013 Grant |

| 26 | 27 | | Teaff Lifetime Achievement Award; moreover, he has recounted his |

| 29 | 30 | | WHEREAS, In reaching the 350-win mark, Randy Allen has |
