| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Anthony Reyes of Kountze has attained the rank of |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, The Eagle Scout badge is a significant honor, one |

| 9 | 10 | | bestowed on only a small fraction of those who enter the scouting |

| 10 | 11 | | movement; in the course of meeting the rank's demanding criteria, |

| 11 | 12 | | Mr. Reyes, of Boy Scout Troop No. 88, earned the requisite 21 merit |

| 12 | 13 | | badges and completed an Eagle Scout project benefiting Southeast |

| 13 | 14 | | Texas law enforcement officers; for the latter endeavor, he |

| 14 | 15 | | constructed steel target stand holders in a concrete slab base at |

| 15 | 16 | | the firearms training facility of the Beaumont Police Department; |

| 16 | 17 | | the firing range is used not only by the department but also by the |

| 17 | 18 | | Federal Bureau of Investigation and other local agencies; and |

| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Reyes is a homeschool student who enjoys playing |

| 19 | 20 | | chess, studying martial arts, and participating in outdoor |

| 20 | 21 | | activities; he is assistant lead altar server at Infant Jesus |

| 21 | 22 | | Catholic Church, where he plays bass guitar in the youth band and is |

| 23 | 24 | | Guillory, of the Diocese of Beaumont, as an episcopal altar server; |

| 25 | 26 | | WHEREAS, The son of Joseph and Orfanery Reyes, this fine |

| 26 | 27 | | young Texan has demonstrated outstanding leadership ability |

| 28 | 29 | | of his fellow troop members as he worked toward the highest rank |

| 31 | 32 | | WHEREAS, Eagle Scout Reyes's dedication to excellence and his |

| 32 | 33 | | perseverance in the pursuit of his goals have proven him worthy to |
