| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, High school graduation is one of life's pivotal |

| 6 | 7 | | milestones, and Joseph Daniel Valenzuela Jr. is participating in |

| 8 | 9 | | School in Round Rock on June 1, 2017; and |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Throughout his years at CRHS, Mr. Valenzuela has |

| 10 | 11 | | maintained a strong focus on academics while also participating in |

| 11 | 12 | | extracurricular activities; in addition to successfully completing |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | study in his school's Academy of Health Science, he lettered for two |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | years on both the football and soccer teams; he received a |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | University Interscholastic League District 13-6A Academic |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | All-District Award and an Academic All-State honorable mention for |

| 16 | 17 | | his work on the gridiron, as well as the CRHS 2017 Goalkeeper of the |

| 17 | 18 | | Year Award and a District 13-6A All-District Goalkeeper honorable |

| 18 | 19 | | mention for his efforts on the soccer field; and |

| 19 | 20 | | WHEREAS, The son of Joe and Blythe Valenzuela, this notable |

| 20 | 21 | | young Texan has volunteered with the Texas House of Representatives |

| 21 | 22 | | during several legislative sessions; in the future, he plans to |
