| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Drawing on publicly available data and on parent and |

| 11 | 11 | | student reviews, Niche.com evaluates the school districts of major |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | metropolitan areas across the nation; the site bases its rankings |

| 13 | 13 | | on a wide range of factors to provide a fully rounded assessment of |

| 14 | 14 | | a district's strength and vitality; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Cypress-Fairbanks ISD is the third-largest school |

| 16 | 16 | | district in the state, with a current enrollment of nearly 114,000 |

| 17 | 17 | | students; led by superintendent Dr. Mark Henry, the district has |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | received an A+ rating from Niche.com in student culture and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | diversity, as well as high scores in academics, teacher quality, |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | sports and fitness, and extracurricular activities; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Through their unwavering commitment to the students |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | of Cypress-Fairbanks ISD, the district's faculty, staff, and |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | administrators have played an essential role in preparing many |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | young Texans for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, |

| 25 | 25 | | and they may take great pride in this prestigious recognition of |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | their efforts; now, therefore, be it |

| 27 | 27 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |

| 28 | 28 | | Legislature hereby congratulate the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent |
