 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Words cannot adequately express the heartache felt
 by the family and friends of Emily Ann Galiano of Sunnyvale, a
 beloved young woman whose life was cut tragically short on May 16,
 2017, at the age of 15; and
 WHEREAS, Emily Ann Galiano was born on October 4, 2001, in
 Lewisville to devoted parents Denny and Laura Galiano and grew up
 with the companionship of her brother, Zachary, and her twin
 sister, Madison; and
 WHEREAS, A freshman at Forney High School and a talented
 athlete, Emily played on her school's volleyball team, and she
 enjoyed competing alongside her sister as an outfielder on the
 varsity softball team; in her free time, she was also active in the
 youth group at Community Life Church; and
 WHEREAS, Although the loss of one so full of promise brings
 immeasurable sorrow, Emily Galiano will forever be remembered for
 her warm heart, her exuberant spirit, and the joy and love that she
 brought into the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her;
 now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
 Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Emily Ann Galiano
 and extend deepest condolences to the members of her family: to her
 parents, Denny and Laura Galiano; to her brother, Zachary Galiano;
 to her sister, Madison Galiano; to her grandparents, Mel and
 Shirley Day and Dennis and Paulette Galiano; to her cousins, Nicole
 Day, Olivia Matthews, Alex, Trevor, and Grant Bowden, Allison,
 Elizabeth, and Eli Haddad, and Colin Galiano; and to her other
 relatives and many friends; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
 Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Emily
 Galiano.
