| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, During the 85th Legislative Session, Kelsey Marsh |

| 6 | 7 | | has ably served her fellow Texans as an intern in the office of |

| 7 | 8 | | State Representative Ana Hernandez through the Texas Legislative |

| 8 | 9 | | Internship Program; and |
|---|
| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Marsh has provided |

| 10 | 11 | | vital assistance in handling such challenging tasks as reviewing |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | and analyzing policy issues in the areas of family and juvenile |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | justice, environmental regulation, and criminal and civil |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | jurisprudence; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | field of public service, she has learned more about the legislative |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, A graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder, |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | where she received a bachelor's degree in sociology, Ms. Marsh |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | currently is pursuing a law degree at the University of North Texas |
|---|
| 19 | 20 | | Dallas College of Law; she has previously completed internships |
|---|
| 20 | 21 | | with the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, the Tarrant County |
|---|
| 21 | 22 | | Criminal District Court No. 3, and the Kimberly Griffin Tucker law |

| 22 | 23 | | firm; and |

| 23 | 24 | | WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed her duties as a |

| 24 | 25 | | legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |

| 25 | 26 | | deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |
