| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The Sweetwater Jaycees are visiting the State |

| 7 | 8 | | the Lone Star State's most feared creatures, Crotalus atrox, |

| 8 | 9 | | commonly known as the Western diamondback rattlesnake; and |

| 9 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Each year the Sweetwater Jaycees sponsor the World's |

| 10 | 11 | | Largest Rattlesnake Roundup, a three-day extravaganza originally |

| 11 | 12 | | conceived by a group of area farmers and ranchers plagued by an |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | overpopulation of rattlesnakes; and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Taking their show on the road, group members have |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | come to Austin to offer their fellow Texans snake demonstrations, |

| 15 | 16 | | information on snake safety, and the ever-popular snake encounters |

| 16 | 17 | | in the outdoor rotunda; and |

| 17 | 18 | | WHEREAS, This fun and informative event is always a favorite |

| 18 | 19 | | at the State Capitol, and it is a pleasure to recognize the |

| 19 | 20 | | Sweetwater Jaycees for another unforgettable presentation; now, |
