| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Our esteemed colleague, the Honorable Toni Rose, is |

| 7 | 7 | | WHEREAS, Toni Rose was first elected to represent Texas House |

| 8 | 8 | | District 110 in 2012; she has authored legislation to improve |

| 9 | 9 | | senior access to transportation, children's health care, access to |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | mental health services, and emergency preparedness management; she |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | has served as vice chair of the House Committee on Human Services, |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | as a member of the Select Committees on Mental Health and Child |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Protection, and as a member of both the Rules and Resolutions and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Juvenile Justice and Family Issues Committees; in addition, she has |

| 15 | 15 | | served as secretary to the Texas Legislative Black Caucus and as |
