| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, Miranda Jasso, of South Middle School in Edinburg, |

| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Before achieving this impressive honor, Miranda won |

| 9 | 10 | | the state Miss PreTeen Galaxy title at the Texas Galaxy Pageant, |

| 10 | 11 | | held in Edinburg on May 28, 2016; she then advanced to the |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | international pageant, where she outscored contestants from around |

| 12 | 13 | | the world in four categories: personal interview, photogenic, |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | fashion wear, and evening gown; and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, A sixth-grader at South Middle School, Miranda |

| 15 | 16 | | participates in Junior FFA, University Interscholastic League Oral |

| 16 | 17 | | Reading, and theater; in her spare time, she enjoys performing |

| 17 | 18 | | community service, baking, and reading; she is the beloved daughter |

| 18 | 19 | | of Homer and Belinda Jasso, and she has two brothers, Marco and |

| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Miranda Jasso has demonstrated exemplary dedication |
