| 5 | 6 | | WHEREAS, The House District 106 Internship Program was |

| 10 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Designed to prepare the next generation of leaders, |

| 11 | 12 | | the internship initiative attracted some 100 applicants from |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | District 106; a selection committee of area leaders helped narrow |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | the pool, and nine were ultimately chosen for the program; and |

| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, The participants are Sarah Bergmann, Landry |

| 15 | 16 | | Hoskins, Mikayla Hurley, Matt Liles, Ethan Spesard, Mason Corr, |

| 16 | 17 | | Sebastian Quiroga, Josiah Spencer, and Augusta Walsh; in their work |

| 17 | 18 | | as interns, these individuals assist with constituent services, |

| 18 | 19 | | interact with community leaders, and attend civic events throughout |

| 19 | 20 | | the district; moreover, they have the opportunity to travel to |
