| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, A Jasper native, Mr. Davis began his PBR career in |

| 9 | 10 | | 2015, and he notched a dramatic victory that year when he became |

| 10 | 11 | | just the fourth rookie competitor in history to win first place at |

| 11 | 12 | | the organization's World Finals event; and |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | WHEREAS, The talented young Texan had a slow start in 2016 |

| 13 | 14 | | because of an injury that kept him from performing at some of the |

| 14 | 15 | | year's early events, and he also suffered a broken collarbone |

| 15 | 16 | | partway through the season; refusing to give up on his championship |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | dream, he was back in action just 17 days after undergoing surgery |

| 17 | 18 | | and made a strong showing in the latter part of the year; and |

| 18 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Davis entered the PBR World Finals in Las Vegas |
