R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned three
decades, Cody and Gena Miles celebrated their 30th wedding
anniversary on December 18, 2016; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Miles exchanged the vows of matrimony
in Waco on that memorable day in 1986, and over the course of their
marriage, they have found in each other a devoted life partner; and
WHEREAS, This esteemed couple count among their blessings a
fine family that includes their son, Dylan Cody, as well as their
granddaughter, Tayler Ann, with whom they treasure spending many
special occasions; and
WHEREAS, Looking back over the past 30 years, Cody and Gena
Miles can savor a wealth of cherished memories and know that the
strength of their love and commitment ensures that many more joyful
times await them; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Cody and Gena Miles on their 30th
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
