H.R. No. 383
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of
mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Richard and Carleta
Reichert of Waco celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage
on December 17, 2016; and
WHEREAS, Rick Reichert and the former Carleta Threadgill were
joined in matrimony in 1966 at Trinity Heights Church of the
Nazarene in Waco; over the years, they have been blessed with a
treasured family that includes their son, David Reichert, and their
daughter, Jen Brown, and her husband, BJ; and
WHEREAS, Longtime residents of Waco, Mr. Reichert has owned
and operated a local business for 43 years and Mrs. Reichert is
retired from the Waco Independent School District; and
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Reichert have enjoyed five decades of
abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among an
exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting
commitment; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Rick and Carleta Reichert on their
50th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
continued happiness; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Reichert as an expression of high regard
by the Texas House of Representatives.
