| 8 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Established in 1996, the East Parker County Chamber |

| 9 | 10 | | of Commerce is the only accredited chamber in Parker County and has |

| 10 | 11 | | a three-star rating from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce; the chamber |

| 11 | 12 | | serves as a unifying voice for its more than 600 business members in |

| 12 | 13 | | the communities of Annetta, Annetta North, Annetta South, Aledo, |

| 13 | 14 | | Hudson Oaks, and Willow Park; and |

| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, East Parker County, situated on the western edge of |

| 15 | 16 | | the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, is set to triple in growth by 2030, |

| 16 | 17 | | and the chamber is dedicated to fostering valuable development |

| 17 | 18 | | while preserving the area's unique heritage and culture; the |

| 18 | 19 | | chamber hosts a number of programs and initiatives in support of its |

| 19 | 20 | | mission, and in 2016 alone, approximately 4,000 attendees benefited |

| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Working for more than two decades to enhance the |

| 22 | 23 | | well-being of area residents, the East Parker County Chamber of |

| 23 | 24 | | Commerce is to be commended for its commitment to progress and |

| 24 | 25 | | prosperity; now, therefore, be it |

| 25 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas |

| 26 | 27 | | Legislature hereby recognize February 16, 2017, as East Parker |
