| 7 | 8 | | WHEREAS, The Corpus Christi YWCA has been recognizing |

| 8 | 9 | | accomplished women in the community through this awards program |

| 9 | 10 | | since 1979; those chosen for the distinction have achieved a |

| 10 | 11 | | notable degree of success in their respective fields, and as women |
|---|
| 11 | 12 | | who demonstrate integrity, a willingness to take on new challenges, |

| 12 | 13 | | and a commitment to excellence, they serve as outstanding role |

| 13 | 14 | | models for young girls, whose empowerment is a crucial part of the |

| 14 | 15 | | YWCA mission; and |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | WHEREAS, A fitting recipient of this prestigious accolade, |

| 16 | 17 | | Vienna Flores is president and CEO of Tukasa Creations, a retail |

| 17 | 18 | | flooring company she founded with her husband, Ernesto; the |

| 18 | 19 | | business has expanded since opening its doors in 2005, and under her |

| 19 | 20 | | leadership, it earned Mohawk regional retailer of the year honors |

| 20 | 21 | | in 2011 and 2014; and |

| 21 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Through the skill and determination she brings to |

| 22 | 23 | | all her efforts, Vienna Flores has earned the esteem of her peers |

| 23 | 24 | | and made contributions to her community that will resonate far into |
